Junior's Tournament

The Al Fuchs Memorial Mobile Junior Championship Tennis Tournament, which is The Annual Serve It Up With Love Tennis Tournament held at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center. We welcome you to come on out and support a Great Tournament in our Community. The tournament, which was named Charity Event of the Year by USTA Alabama for 2012 and 2021, benefits the Mobile Child Advocacy Center. This is money greatly needed to fund services for abused children in our community.

• This is a Round Robin Format with Timed Matches played in a half-day.
• USTA Member # is Required to play in this tournament.

How to create a USTA account for your child

If your child does not already have a USTA number, you will need one to register for this tournament. You can select the link below and get a free membership. Please note if the child is 12 or under, the parent will have to get a family account and then add the minor in a second step (This is due to privacy laws and child protection). If the child is 13 or over, then they can have an individual account not requiring the parent to have a family account.

IMPORTANT! To register for programs like Junior Team Tennis or a Junior Tournament, after you create your child's account, you will still need to activate their free Junior Membership by pressing the "Upgrade" button or the shopping cart icon or the Membership tab of your account. (We are aware this isn't ideal, and we are working to make this process easier.)

Once you have a USTA number, Determine the Division your child will play in based on Age and Skill Level:

For ages 12s - 18s: (Yellow Ball, USTA Sanctioned, USTA # required):
This is a USTA Sanctioned Event. Must be 11 or older to play these age divisions. Some 10 year olds are allowed if they have gone through the tournament progression of orange, to green and now yellow. If you are 10 and the site will not let you register, then you most likely do not meet the eligibility requirement and will have to play in the correct 10s division.

For ages 10u (Green Ball & Orange Ball) and 8u (Red Ball), USTA # Required:

This Event is for 10 & Under Orange & Green Ball and 8 & Under Red Ball Events Only.

For 8s: All players will register for Co-ed. Our only registration option was for 8u Orange Ball. However, we will use Red Ball.

For 10s: Please Register for either the Boys or Girls Events. DO NOT Register for the Co-ed Events. We will only use the Co-ed events if the numbers do not allow us to have separate boys and girls events.

• Orange Ball - Beginner 10 & Under Players
  
• Green Ball - You will only be allowed to enter this event if you have "Progressed" from Orange Ball.
